Hypnotherapy downloads or CD's can be designed by me, for you, specifically. This can be very helpful for you if you are unable to see me for whatever reason, a phone consultation will be necessary.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Group Hypnotherapy for 'Stress'
 
 
Take this opportunity to de-stress using techniques that are painless and extremely effective.
Stress is something that appears to control so many people. To be stressed means you’re not functioning as effectively as you could be in all areas of your life including relaxing!! Yes even when relaxing; most people are shocked when I inform them that being stressed changes all functions of the body therefore taking the time out to read a book or go for a walk still doesn’t have the effect that it would have if you weren’t stressed to begin with.
 
Why distress?
 
  • When you are stressed your body can’t digest food properly therefore nutrients simply go to waste. This leads to you feeling tired and more stressed!
 
  • De-stressing allows you to remain in a frame of mind that recognises stress is detrimental, making it much easier to make rational, effective decisions.
 
  • The stress hormone Cortisol causes an increase in abdominal fat which is the reason for many stress suffers to also suffer with weight issues.
 
  • Chronic and acute stress can cause difficulty with concentration and memory. Studies show that individuals subjected to stress have more difficulty with short-term and verbal memory, and stress makes it much more difficult to pay attention to detail, causing careless accidents and problems with work or academic demands.
 
 
The body doesn’t recognise the difference between the stress you experience in the office or the stress you experience whilst saving your life. When your body recognises stress it prepares and responds your body to cope with whatever may lie a head...
 
  • Less oxygen is delivered to the less vital parts of your body in order to supply your organs with what’s available; your skin is not classed as a vital organ and neither are your muscles.
 
  • Blood pressure increases to supply blood more efficiently.
 
  • Heart rate increases to pump more blood throughout the body.
 
  • Rate of respiration increases to get more oxygen from the atmosphere.
 
  • Using techniques such as Hypnotherapy, it has been proven you can dramatically reduce the symptoms of stress, making a difference to all the areas of your life mentioned above. The techniques I use during this evening are designed to help you make permanent changes in your everyday life.
